I am pleased to extend congratulations and message of support to Dr Mark Nicely and the team on the launch of the Rise Counselling and Empowerment Services Limited and the Rise Hope Ministries Ltd. This is a timely and welcome move amid reports of more people reaching out for counselling, psycho-social and mentoring support in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and related concerns. The range of services being offered including professional development advice will no doubt fill a niche in the Jamaican society and the diaspora. Dr Nicely has an excellent track record of service to the education sector and I am confident the same high standards will be the hallmark of this new venture.

This message is provided in congratulatory endorsement of Dr. Mark Nicely in support of the launch of the charitable organization “Rise with Hope Ministries Jamaica Ltd.” Dr. Nicely’s extensive experience and involvement in the education sector, has afforded him both the skills and tenacity to offer well deserved opportunities and services for all Jamaicans. I have no reservations endorsing his charitable endeavors for this monumental task which I know will be fruitful with him as its leader. As a result of the focus Dr. Nicely puts on giving back in such a charitable way, the Jamaica Diaspora Education Task Force fully supports him and wishes him success, because his success is Jamaica’s success. We are unified in fulfilling the needs of our Jamaican people through our shared vision to leverage the wealth of resources and expertise that our organizations avail themselves of through partnerships with members of our vast diaspora.

It was Etienne de Grellet who posited “I shall pass this way but once; any good that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being; let me do it now”.    Against this powerful backdrop which emphasizes the urgency of ‘now’, I extend congratulations to Dr. Mark Nicely on the launch of the “Rise Counselling and Empowerment Services Jamaica Limited.”

I endorse this initiative which inter alia provides an avenue to galvanize and capitalize on the philanthropic spirit now so prevalent across the world.  The timing of this initiative could not be more apt as the dislocation to personal lives caused by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented.  On behalf of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association, I wish you God speed on this wonderful initiative Dr. Nicely.

I am very delighted to offer my personal endorsement on this occasion when two companies, Rise Counselling and Empowerment Services Ja. Ltd. and Rise with Hope Ministries Ja.
